Three situations when I need a reliable podcast app

Podcasts have been a part of my life since 2011. During those seven years, I have used several different Android podcast apps. But none of them really had all the features and stability that I wanted. It wasn’t until our team at Really Bad Apps created Podcast Guru, that I knew I didn’t have to keep looking. Podcast Guru has everything I can ask from an Android podcast app. Because struggling with an app is the last thing that I want to do when enjoying my favorite podcasts. These are the scenarios when I need a reliable podcast app the most:

While working out

I heard that there are people who can run without listening to anything, good for you! When it comes to my workout routine, I need to listen to something. Using a great podcast app while working out is the best way to think less about how tired I am, and more on something interesting. While working out, I prefer listening to something that makes me think one step further. Podcasts featuring political debates and documentaries are gym favorites to me.

After a stressful workday

Everyone needs to unwind after work. Some people prefer to do it in silence, I prefer listening to fun and easy going podcasts. This allows me to let my own thoughts go for a moment. With Podcast Guru, I can download the podcast before entering the metro in case the reception is not good enough during my journey back from the office.

When going to bed

People say that you are supposed to stay away from digital media before bedtime – podcasts are the loophole to that rule! Since I started using Podcast Guru, all I have to do is press play and listen. Instead of watching TV or my computer, I can avoid that unhealthy white light and still be entertained. To me, podcasts are a great alternative when I want to unwind at the end of the day.

The most reliable podcast app

When I am enjoying my podcast, there is nothing worse than encountering technical issues. While I am on the treadmill, I simply can’t look at my Android phone to figure out why the podcast is not playing. When I am unwinding from a stressful day, the last thing I want to do is to deal with technical issues. And is there anything more frustrating than having to restart the podcast app while getting into bed?

Since I downloaded Podcast Guru from Google Play, I don’t have any of those issues. The app is simple to use, with the core features and no extra fuss. It allows me to save my favorite podcasts and download them for offline listening. Our team has created a featured and trending section for finding new podcasts. This Android podcast app is always there for me when I need my daily dose of podcasts.
